Mission & Outreach

Hands On Mission Opportunities!

Food For Kids: Come and help us pack the bags. Contact the church office for the date of our next fun-filled filling party!

Armory Hot Meal:  Come and help us fix and then serve a meal to Puyallup’s homeless and low income.  We meet at the church at 4pm on the 4th Monday of each month to prepare the food and then take it to the Puyallup Armory to be served!

Operation Christmas Child: It is time to get those shoe boxes filled with gifts for Children around the world!

Freezing Nights: Freezing Nights provides emergency shelter from November through March. Besides a meal and a warm place to stay for the night, the participants will be fed breakfast in the morning and given a sack lunch to take when they leave the shelter.  There are many ways to help: time with guests, set up, clean up, kitchen and meal coordination, cash or supplies donations. We also need people who are willing to spend the night at the church to be available for the guests. We also need people who can spend all or part of each night at the church with our guests.

We will host Freezing Nights on the second, fourth and fifth Tuesday nights, each month, November-March. This ministry needs people and/or groups who will provide light meals for 35-40 people. Also donations of wool-blend socks, cough drops, wrapped candies, gloves (especially for men), toe-warmer packs or check/cash donations. To find out more about this ministry and to volunteer, ask us:

Other local ministries include:

Through the Presbyterian General Assembly,
church-wide offerings help fund:
